John Morey is the author of the Card Snake gaslamp fantasy trilogy as well as the Lucy December Urban Fantasy series.

A former professional editor, and an amateur historian and photographer, he uses a lifelong love of mythology and unusual wit to fuel his writing. Born in Pennsylvania and raised on a steady diet of monsters, he now lives in the Bay Area, where there are even bigger monsters. It’s pretty much always about the monsters.
